The book, which is beautifully illustrated by @oreganilloartworks, explores the question of what if the story of Iceland’s founding wasn’t just about Norse warriors and Viking explorers? What if it was also about Irish settlers—slaves, families, and adventurers—who shaped the island’s culture, language, and identity in ways long forgotten?

  • Family Constellations Workshop

    9:30am - 5:00pm

Join Rebecca Hadrill for this one-day group experiential workshop.  Discover how Family Constellations, based on the principles of Bert Hellinger, can help change your perspective, unburden you, help you gain insights and find steps to overcome challenges in your life (work, personal, relationships, health, financial, etc.)
This powerful method will help you free yourself from the limiting or damaging repetitive patterns, behaviours and emotions that are affecting your life in some way today which you have unconsciously taken on from your family system out of love and loyalty.

The building is an old 18th century stables that was originally used by John Busby, one of the local distillers in the Blackpitts area. Since then it has been adapted for multiple uses from grain store to meat factory, a bakery and finally a photography studio in the late 1980s. The Fumbally took it on in 2015 as somewhere for us to develop ideas and projects outside of the cafe confines, and since then it has grown into a much more all-encompassing space that is open to many diverse activities but keeps food and community at its core.

The building can be engaged with in a number of different ways. We do direct hires, where you rent one of the rooms and the rest is up to you. Alternatively we can take care of your event, whether it’s a private dinner, workshop, meeting room that requires catering and management or community event that just needs someone to welcome people on the door.

All enquiries to Jael and Anna at hello@thefumballystables.ie
