Culture Night at The Fumbally Stables
Liz Walsh (29 Bride Street) will be giving print making workshops upstairs in the studio.
In the long room, the Dublin 8 Weavers will have their looms with them and will be demonstrating some old weaving techniques that would have been prevalent in teh area a hundred years ago.
In the loft, singer songwriter and fumbally chef Camilla Houstoun will be sharing some songs. Camilla’s folky style is greatly influenced by her time spent between Ireland and Scotland. This performance is inspired by the waulking songs used to accompany weaving in the Hebrides.
This is a free event, but booking is essential.
