Easter Opening hours

Happy Easter!!

See Sow

Remember this time last year when we had that mini heat wave in march and everyone went out and started planting and shaping up the garden. And then it snowed a week later! Well its that time again, only this year theres no doubt that a little caution will be taken in the form of a few weeks of patience until the weather changes. But we can still get sowing indoors.

Its always amazing to think that these little babies

will turn into these bad boys

Easter Rising – March 31st

Young Hearts Run Free have been putting on inspiring music and literary events for the past 4 years – always in aid of the simon community and always in not so obvious spaces. Great to have them in the fumbally on this coming Easter Sunday.

Music from the wonderful Alasdair Roberts, Peadair O’Riada and Mossy Nolan and a special screening of Hannah Cohen’s ‘Holy Communion’.

There’ll be a pot of something tasty on the go as always, doors 7.30pm.

Broad Bean Band – it’s a Gubbeen thing

What do you do when you live on a farm in west cork, your mum and dad make cheese, your brother makes sausages and you tend one of the most stunning organic gardens in the south west? You make an electronic masterpiece of a music album. Obviously.

Broad Bean Band – the next step in Irish Farmhouse Produce.

Buffalo Woman – March 28th

Neil Watkins is an Internationally acclaimed Poet and Playwright. He is. He is also likely to be serving you falafel and eggs on any given Saturday in the Fumbally, which is amazing really. Just like so many of our staff who all have these incredible talents that we are so privileged to see every now and again outside of working hours (sometimes inside of working hours, which is even more of a privilege).

Dipping his nib into so many different milieux (actor, playwright, singer, dancer, all round performer), Neil is one of the most talented people we know and we are delighted to be hosting his first ever rock concert in the fumbally.

Support from the great  Stefano Schiavocampo

Thursday March 28th 7.30pm

There’ll be a pot of something on the stove for hungry folk on the night

Representin’ at the Barista Champs

Well done to Ger for being a JUDGE at the Irish Barista Championships this year. He’s been a competitor many times so its a pretty impressive move to be on the other side of the table. And an honour at that.

G’wan Ger!

Hats off to Colin from 3FE for another glorious win and well done to Bruno from Brother Hubbard and Vini from Urbun for giving him a run for his money.
